Absalom Barnes has taken a more prominent role with
the Tropics in recent weeks and the team has won two in a row. He exploded for 38 points and 8 rebounds in the win. Chris Moore (18) and Lorenzo Prats (17) also scored high double figures.

The Bucket Squad shot 48% from three and newcomer
Alex Bauer followed up his 29 point effort with 24 more. He shot 10-of-14 and also had 6 rebounds. As did Parris Current who added 17 points.

The Soldiers 92 (3-2), Giv3 N’ Go 76 (2-3)
The Soldiers looked like their old selves in this
game. A site for sore eyes and a convincing W on top. While Will Haynes posted a 21 point/11 rebound double-double. He also had 2 blocks. Jon Hunt grabbed 16 rebounds.

Giv3 N’ Go has dropped three straight after starting
2-0 and are somewhat mirroring the Tropics season. Jordan Eppink had 18 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 2 blocks as the versatile big man continues his stellar play. Martin Salinas had 23 points and Brad
McCallan contributed 9 rebounds.

Getting Older 68 (5-0), Contract Killers 58 (2-3)
The Contract Killers played Getting Older as well
as anyone so far this year. They slowed down the pace and took the three point attack away best they could. Even so, Getting Older led wire to wire and remain undefeated. Joey Gladney had 23 points and 8 rebounds on 10-of-14 shooting for the Contract Killers.

Player of the Game: Donte Smith
Getting Older just keeps rolling. Smith came off
the bench in this one but nevertheless scored a team-high 18 points and made 6-of-8 free throws. GOB made 20-of-25 free throws (80%).

Easy Money 87 (4-1), The Sizzle 49 (2-3)
Not much positive to say about The Sizzle except
for it’s only six days until they get to play again. Ram Haddas had 20 points and Jackson Aitken had 8 rebounds. The team shot just 31% in a forgettable loss.

Player of the Game: Kevin Emasiani
If not for Getting Older, all eyes would be on red
hot Easy Money. Brandon Barkley had a game-high 22 points and also swiped 12 rebounds. Not to be outdone, center Kevin Emasiani pulled in 18 rebounds, also had 3 blocks and scored 10 points. Both players had double-doubles, as did Benny Valentine who scored
10 points and collected 12 assists. Six Easy Money players scored in double figures.
